Bringing it back to 2006

Hello, fellow bloggers!!

How has everyones week been so far? Mine has been tiring and slow! I had yesterday off and i spent most of the day sleeping and playing Guitar Hero.

Wow, that kinda makes me sound like a loser.. anywho! I found a wii bundle (the Wii console, two controllers with two nunchucks and two Mario Kart wheels, score!) for sale at the thrift store for only $60 the other week!!!

My boyfriend thought i was crazy until i showed him how much people are selling just a wii and one remote for. I gotta say, i've been kicking a$$ at bowling and baseball!!

My guitar for Guitar Hero finally came on Tuesday but i was too tired after work to play so that was all my day off consisted of yesterday besides a few naps inbetween. My boyfriend was shocked when he came home from work and i was in the same spot he left me.

In other news, still no Halloween costume yet. I can't find something i like for the life of me. Maybe i'll be a guitar hero player for halloween and just play guitar hero in the corner all night. ha!

Kindle, Meet Tamera

WOOHOO!!!!

I have officially joined the Kindle world.

Kindle Basic world, to be exact. I was looking at the Prime Day deals before bed and just jumped at it! (you guys score any deals?) I wish i would've done a little bit more research because now of course, my tiktok is filled with Kobo and other e-readers. It also feels like i'm cheating on my ipad mini in a way. Oh well! Move over Ipad!!!

It feels different going for the Kindle when I'm a paperback girly to the core. I'm just always worried of messing up the book by throwing it in my purse or my bookmark falling out so i end up leaving my book at home. this kindle is perfect to throw in my purse on the go!

I was talking to my mom at her work about me getting a kindle and the lady next to us, turns and says "I just read on my phone, it's the same thing!" Uhhh........... NO ma'am! It's not the same. If i'm on my phone, it's much easier for me to get distracted and go on Tiktok or Pinterest. Same goes for reading on my Ipad.

Now that I have her, are there things i should know? I'm doing the two month trial of Kindle Unlimited right now to see if i actually keep up on reading. I have a few books that i'm interested in but nothing has really caught my eye.

What's your favorite book or one you'd recommend to anyone? I mostly love thriller and suspense books but i'll read anything!!

The REAL Horrors of Halloween!!!

How in the heck do people figure out a Halloween costume and stick with it?!

I have gone through atleast 10 costume ideas and after a day or so, i hate it & change my mind. I'm sticking around my town this year so that means i need to find a costume that can handle the cold, Minnesota weather but still be cute!!!!

Do you guys have your costumes planned and are you diying or buying?? Everytime i try to DIY, it never matches the vision in my head. My boyfriend wants to do a couples costume and i have a few ideas but who knows! HELP!!

Here is my costume from a few years ago! It was so cute but the diy "Boots" i made kept falling down and ripping. My basket had shooters inside for a little extra something ;)

Hello, friends!

Did you think I could forget about you guys? ;) I've missed ya'll and my little blog here. I had to take a little bit of me time but i'm back!! Here's a little breakdown:

Well for starters, I kind of hit rock bottom for a tiny bit there! lol!

My car broke down, my relationship was not doing the best and my mental health had taken an absolute shit!! I was so depressed and just wanted to sleep. I didn't feel creative or that i really had anything to say so i stopped posting. Then I was laying in bed a few nights ago and it just hit me, crying & feeling sorry for myself isn't going to fix my car, my relationship or how i'm feeling, GIRL STAND UP!!!

It's kind of funny when you get in a little funk and just completely snap out of it. Don't get me wrong, i still have those bad days but i am trying to find some sort of joy in those days.

And that brings us to today, this blog is something i really enjoy especially connecting with you guys. I'm taking it day by day but hopefully i can get back into a normal routine of posting and adding new fun things for you queens
